Season 16 of the hilariously chaotic ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ has kicked off on FXX on June 7, 2023. As always, this season promises a healthy mix of calamitous capers, outlandish schemes, and the gang’s signature, unconventional hilarity that has kept us hooked for over a decade.
For those who missed the premiere or are just impatient for their Sunny fix, fret not! The episodes have first on-demand availability on FXNOW and will be available for next-day streaming on Hulu. For our international fans, you can catch the mayhem on Star+ in Latin America, and on Disney+ under the Star banner in all other territories.
The Old Gang is All Here… And Then Some
Returning to the fold for another season of mayhem are our beloved stars Charlie Day as Charlie Kelly, Glenn Howerton as Dennis Reynolds, Rob McElhenney as Ronald “Mac” McDonald, Kaitlin Olson as Dee Reynolds, and, of course, Danny DeVito as the one and only Frank Reynolds.
As we’ve come to expect, some familiar faces will be stopping by Paddy’s Pub, including Mary Elizabeth Ellis as The Waitress, Artemis Pebdani as Artemis Dubois, Sandy Martin as Mrs. Mac, Lynne Marie Stewart as Bonnie Kelly, Mary Lynn Rajskub as Gail the Snail, Jimmi Simpson as Liam McPoyle, Nate Mooney as Ryan McPoyle, David Hornsby as Matthew “Rickety Cricket” Mara, and Andrew Friedman as Jack Kelly.
And hold on to your seats, because we’re also getting a dash of Hollywood this season. Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul are guest-starring as none other than themselves!

We’ve already been treated to two episodes, “The Gang Inflates” and “Frank Shoots Every Member of the Gang.” Without giving too much away, let’s just say they are classic Sunny – outrageous, absurd, and unmissable.

- “Risk E. Rat’s Pizza and Amusement Center”: An adventure in a pizza and amusement center seems harmless, right? But with this gang, expect anything but a slice of normality.
- “Dennis Takes a Mental Health Day”: As Dennis attempts to find inner peace, the rest of the gang finds new and imaginative ways to drive him back to the edge.
- “The Gang Goes Bowling”: What can possibly go wrong with a simple game of bowling? With this gang, we’re sure to find out.
